Sun Breathing

This is a breathing exercise to do when you want to energize yourself.

 

1. Sit up straight.

2. Place your right index and middle fingers between your eyebrows.

3. place your little finger on your left nostril, and inhale with right nostril.

4.Place your thumb on your right nostril, and exhale with left nostril.

5. Repeat 3 and 4.

 

 

 

Moon Breathing

This breathing exercise to do when you want to calm down yourself.

 

1. Sit up straight

2. Place your right index and middle fingers between your eyebrows.

3. Place your thumb on your right nostril, so inhale with left nostril.

4. Place your little finger on left nostril, so exhale with right nostril.

5. Repeat 3 and 4.

 

 

 

Nadi Shodhana

Nadi means energy lines and shodhana means purification. You can purify the energy lines and balance the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems.

 

1. Sit up straight.

2. Place your right index and middle finger between your eyebrows.

3. Place your right thumb on your right nostril, and inhale with your left nostril.

4. Place your right little finger on left nostril, and exhale with your right nostril.

5. As you keep your right little finger on your left nostril, and inhale with your right nostril.

6. Place your right thumb on your right nostril, and exhale with your left nostril.

7. Repeat 3 to 6.
